East Africa Harvest Festival & Mission Trip 2012

East Africa is once again blessed by a series of revival services, Harvest Festivals, free medical clinics, and food distribution by the IFGF GISI team that is led by Ps. Daniel Hanafi (IFGF GISI LA) himself. This time, the mission is a joint effort by both IFGF GISI LA & IFGF GISI San Francisco. Altogether done by 6 people, the 2012 African Mission took place on 2 – 14 January 2012, and it was truly inspiring. Ps. Ndjoli Iyanga and his team accompanied them; and they visited 4 cities and 3 countries in the African continent, including the city of Adjumani in North Uganda, Nimule, and Juba in South Sudan, and then Wajir in Southeast Kenya near the border of Somalia.
In Adjumani, a Harvest Festival was held where up to 140 pastors, Christian leaders, and government officials came to attend. In the evening Revival Service, approximately 1700 people came to glorify and worship God’s name. There were many testimonies, such as 50 people receiving divine healing and more than 170 people giving their lives to Jesus. Besides the Revival Service and Harvest Festival, Ps. Ray Teguh and his team also visited the Adjumani hospital where they had a chance to share the Gospel and pray for the sick.

The call to become a great impact and an influential people was the prophecy for the people of Nimule in South Sudan by Ps. Daniel. About 710 people came to the 2 Revival Nights in Nimule, which Ps. Daniel & Kenneth Edward led. Besides that, Ps. Ray & team actually took on a different strategy; they visited an orphanage and also shared the Gospel door to door there.
Juba in South Sudan became the third place that was visited by the team. Here, Ps. Daniel spoke to 20 pastors and church leaders.

Finally, Wajir became the main place of the humanitarian mission for food & medicine distribution. About 800 families received food and 240 sick people received treatments. The help that World Harvest together with IFGF GISI Africa gave to Somalia was very warmly welcome. Through this humanitarian act, God worked and did His miracles, so that His name was glorified, particularly this time in the land of Somalia and the nation of Africa.
