The International Church Planting Institute (ICPI) was established in July 2008 as a realization of the dream to produce church planters in the spirit of CELEBRATE 3000 then. After graduating 16 more church planters as their forth academic batch of students in December 2009, ICPI is once again ready to enroll students for their fifth class. The class will begin this third week of April 2010.

Fifteen people have already registered for the upcoming class; and IFGF GISI Manado this time is opening its arms to sponsor 10 people through special scholarship funds. ICPI is located in Tomohon, Manado – a cool mountainside area in North Sulawesi. Here, future church planters are shaped to become individuals that are aware and conscious of their identity, their spirituality, their surrounding, and their institution. During their 5 months of studies, their days are filled with many activities to keep them busy. In addition each instructor (Apostolic Team and Executive Council) teaches and imparts to each student the spirit, the knowledge, and the character necessary to become excellent church planters.

In January 2010, IFGF GISI declared a commitment to build 6000 churches by 2013. Thus, many more excellent workers in His field need to be raised up and sent out to the mission field.
