Goma mission is the Regional leaders’ initiative to help our brothers and sisters in North-East Congo. The mission was held on April 19th to 21st, after the Regional Meeting in Kampala which was arranged by the Regional leaders and supported by IFGF GISI churches in Eastern and Central Africa. Within the 13 Regional leaders, 6 were directly involved in the mission field. They were Ps. David S. Muchanga (IFGF GISI Dar Es Salam), Ps. James Katula (IFGF GISI Kamuli), Ps. Emmanuel Wakhungila (IFGF GISI Kenya), Ps. Alexis Balumba (IFGF GISI Goma), and Ps. Ndjoli Iyanga (IFGF GISI Uganda).
On 19 - 20 April 2013, Goma mission started with a Seminar which was attended by 300 people from IFGF Beni, Bukavu and Rutshuru. The Seminar encouraged the pastors and congregations of IFGF GISI Goma to stay firm in faith throughout the war in North-East Congo. The main speakers for these 2 days were Ps. David S. Muchanga who shared His thought from Proverb 23:7 and Matthew 12:34-35.

Strategic Training 2013 in IFGF GISI Sabah Sarawak
IFGF GISI Sabah and Sarawak has worked together to hold the strategic training (PESTA) to build intimacy and impart spiritual knowledge to the 107 participants who attended.
Foreword President May 2013
Rev. Dr. Budi Hidajat
Rooted in our Cornerstone, Christ A believer's life resembles a tree that is ready to bear fruit. As He is called the Jehovah Jireh (God “The Provider”), He has already provided for each of us if only we remain in Him. There is a tree that is intentionally not given enough water by its owner. The owner’s goal is to have the roots penetrate deep into the soil to seek the source of water, so that the plant is deep-rooted and not easily uprooted. Like the roots seeking for the source of water, our attitudes toward the word of God should reflect the same. There will be time when we experience spiritual drought, but let’s us be roots that is ready to seek and remain in the water source. A fruitful tree that is ready to be enjoyed and not easily uprooted is a tangible result of every believer who is rooted in Christ. As Psalm 1:3 says, “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
